This is the Aesthetic style which became very popular in the 1860s and was inspired by Japanese design. This features a bamboo relief around the outside of the bowl with some added gilding. It is marked with a diamond shaped British registration relief mark (in use from around 1840 1880) It has hand numbering as well. The bowl measures about 9 x 3. It would be lovely as a centerpiece filled with fruits,
