Blue Chinoiserie English Transferware Plate Aquila Eagle in Flight Oriental Flowers Woods jewel some crazing presentThis lovely plate entitled Aquila (Latin for Eagle) depicts the revered bird in flight over lush foliage and flowers. Very difficult to find in this multi colorway, it is done in a rich blue transfer with hand painted touches of color in green, red and yellow. It has a Chinoiserie theme with the flowers and a nice poie crust edge. Measures 10" condition: No chips or cracks. There is crazing present. Marked on back.
