Artist statement: Living in Alaska has opened me up for a visual world where large shapes intermingle with shining streaks of brilliant color

tribute to the years she flew to the villages of Nome and Kotzebue as a stewardess with Alaska Airlines

especially Russian churches with their onion domes

From its origins as a trick played by Raven (the scientific version involving plate tectonics is also included) to the flora and fauna and human explorations

Memories of I Woulda, tucked away and hid? So many life I shouldas derail no fault their own. Most of life I wouldassuggest were not alone. "Conquer the I shouldas! Cast dock lines", shouts Mark Twain. "Sail safe harbor wouldas, dont live your life in vain!" But shoulda, woulda choices from love, fear or anger embed as
