Each oval plaque is very finely painted as a young German bride in historical traditional wedding costume. The plaques are after paintings by Friedrich Von Kaulbach who was a celebrated German portraitist & historical painter. Both plaques are stamped to the rear with the impressed sceptre mark and KPM,
