I have had cuff bands with snap closures added

Measures:  XS as bust must be 30” - or could open side seam and add snaps to aid access

*The store was one of the premier in the region until the original grand store was bombed in 1941

I've absolutely dosed these in leather restorer as the scales where beginning to lift a bit as you can see

5” on current hook and eye fastening

vintage of uncertain age! fine navy wool crepe and gold lamé striped fortuny style scarf 1940s I have had cuff bandsI've had this for such a long time now while I puzzled over it! At first glance it could be relatively recent (70s 80s?) but when you look closer the material seems earlier, in a Fortuny style pleat, as does the style of fringe. I've shown it to another dealer who also thought it was pre war but it's really hard to say for certain.. I'm still undecided! Measures: When unstretched it is approx 10' wide, stretching up to approx 24" It's roughly 78" long
